Sunday morning disruptive building technology
The HSBC building in Hong Kong was a major disruptor. Designed in the late seventies and completed in 1985 it paved the way for many things we now take for granted. Solar reflectors on the roof to maximise daylight, prefabricated structure and floor modules from around the world, the list goes on.
I always pay a visit whenever I’m in Hong Kong.
Have we had a disruptive building since? The property industry needs one. Any takers?
